FLO-TITE Industrial Ball Valves

FLO-TITE Industrial Ball Valves

A ball valve is a type of flow control device that regulates the flow of liquid through it by using a hollow, perforated, pivoting ball. When the ball's hole aligns with the flow inlet, it is open, and when the valve handle pivots the ball 90 degrees to halt the flow, it is closed. The handle is parallel to the flow when the valve is open. It is perpendicular to the flow when closed, allowing easy visual confirmation of the valve's status. Ball valves are trustworthy, closing securely even after extended periods of inactivity, and durable, functioning well after numerous usage cycles. Because of these features, they are an excellent choice for shutdown and on-off applications. However, they lack the fine control of other valves in throttle applications.

Flo-Tite Inc. manufactures high-quality ball valves that adhere to internationally recognized standards and specifications, including ANSI/ASME/ISO/NACE and API. They maintain an inventory of standard valves in Carbon, Stainless, Steel, and Alloy 20.
